ASPECTS OF LOVE THROUGH COLOR

 

The original theme of this movie was to emphasize aspects of love through painting and to explore painting through live action from the beginning of the process to the completed piece.

 

The idea was to incorporate the relational aspect of showing love through creative expression.

 

Through the creative process eventually I was able to narrow the original concept down and was pleased to get to an idea that incorporated just about all my intended ideas.

 

I arrive with "Aspects of Love Through Color" and I hope you enjoy the experience as much as I enjoyed the process...



 









 

 

"REMEMBERING LOVE"

 

PERCEPTION OF HARMONY

 

 

This painting demonstrates the beginning of a relationship when one thinks all is well and it appears that both parties are headed in the same direction.  Everything seems to be smooth and even...Until...

 

DISCORD....

 

 

This painting is representational of a relationship established on a  faulty foundation. Somewhere signals were crossed and there was a revelation of a skewed perception. The end result concludes in tension, chaos, anger, hurt and a connection severed.

MY FRIEND MR BYRON KIM

 

Mr. Byron Kim is a contemporary artist that was born in California and in current day lives in Brooklyn, NY...clearly down to earth, Mr. Kim's art work primarily consist of Monochromatic canvases although he also plays with other mediums such as landscapes and photographic assemblages. 

 

 

A display of Mr. Kim's two and three zoned canvases that displays colors sampled form objects, sites, or even people...

 

 

Here is Synecdoche (Oil on Canvas) 400 small canvases that all represent a different skintone...this painting was Mr. Kim's approach to raising cultural awareness...
